Autodesk finally put a stake in Softimage, one of the oldest and well regarded professional tool suites. Softimage was first released at SIGGRAPH in 1998, just two years after the first release of Shade Pro in Japan and its curved surface modeling tool set. Since 1986, Shade 3D has received constant updates, upgrades and love.
Softimage users, we feel your pain. We all knew this was coming though.
Mirye Software is offering a limited time sidegrade from Softimage to Shade 3D Professional. Find out more about this special offer.
